Shaq's badgie poo being revoked

Few things have pissed me off more than the head line that Shaq's plastic badge will be withdrawn by the LAPD or the county police. What in the hell was he doing riding along with the police anyway? He has no business being there and wouldn't be if he wasn't a prominant athlete. Doesn't everyone love election time? That all American time when everyone has an opinion that their choice is the only sensible one for all to make. I am so friggin sick of the phone calls, (at least 3 a day) asking for my support of one candidate or another. Why should anyone listen? The bastards are all liars and saying what they believe we want to hear. You can tell what group a politician is speaking in front of by the way he lies. Jewish audience all Jewish stuff, Black audience all race stuff and so on and on.

Stupid road side signs are next on my favorite list. Who in the hell is gonna be swayed to vote because a piece of cardboard is sticking up on the side of the road or better yet a complete ad sign with a 20 ft. by 25 ft sign all with a name, usually a last name smeared all over it. "He who has the biggest sign is the biggest prick in the bunch." The older I get the worse the politicking becomes. Just listen to them. How to tell if a politician is lying? Watch his/her lips.

Steroids for Pro Athletes

I can't remember ever not giving a shit about something as much as I don't give a shit about this issue. It's no ones fault but pro sports for Lord's sake. When athletes make the kind of money they make they're expected to produce. I'm not sure who took the first shot but it doesn't matter. This wasn't even banned officially by baseball until 2005, I think. Now with the media constantly blowing things out of proportion this investigation takes on a life of its own. In the case of Bonds and Clemens, they're never going to be in the Hall of Fame even if neither of them was lying. (which I doubt very much) Young athletes, especially the very talented, develop such an ego by the time they mature that they are convinced that nothing or no one can touch them for any infraction. If they're accused of something, the devil made them do it. Who me, never did that. IMO it's up to sports of all kinds to police their own ranks. Otherwise, who the hell cares?

Pa. Hunter Bags Rare Albino Black Bear

SPRING MILLS, Pa. (AP) - A Westmoreland County man is having a memorable 2007 bear season. Tom Wisniowski bagged a rare albino black bear Monday on the season's opening day. The female cub weighed 47 pounds.

Wisniowski told The Sentinel in Lewistown that conditions were difficult and at first he thought he was looking at a coyote. But when the bear got a bit closer, he could tell it was an unusual bear.

Wisniowski was hunting with Jeff Gowen of Evansburg and Richard Marther and Andrew Duncan, both of Erie. All four killed bear while hunting together in Centre County.

You gotta be shitting me. A 47 pound bear. For god's sake, it's not as big as a dog. Now let me ask you. This is sporting? This is hunting? It was probably getting ready to attack the big bad hunter person. Come on guys you didn't bag a bear, you shot a fucking white dog.....Makes me sick to my stomach.

Bond's Homeruns

What is there about Barry Bonds that makes so many people care about whether he hits another home run or not? It, much like everything else covered today by the media, is hype. This bullshit sells papers, magazines, TV ads and so on. Why do we fall for it?

Hank Aaron will always be the HR champ to me, until someone manages to break it again, probably A-Rod will do it in a few years and all this crap put up by Bonds and the media will all be forgotten. Why do we do it? Because that's all there is to read, watch and so forth.
